The Team

The team has proven experience of supporting schools with bespoke packages of advice, development and practical assistance.
The Learning Gateway technical team has international expertise across all aspects of ICT development in schools. They offer:
- Technical expertise for schools developing an ICT curriculum
- Curriculum material development support
- Expertise related to creating electronic management systems for schools
The family of schools enables access to a wide range of head teacher and senior management expertise available to be shared with other partner schools through a variety of support systems including:
- Mentoring
- Short term placements
- Interim management
- Specific tasks e.g. timetabling
Within the school family we have outstanding professionals who can work collaboratively with their peers in classrooms to improve the quality of teaching and learning in all subject areas.
The Ormiston Education Trust has significant links with business leaders and other national organisations. This enables us to offer partner schools opportunities for:
- Lobbying on a local, regional and national level
- Mentors and coaches in school
- Partnership development
- Planning of innovative programmes bringing different sectors together for community development.
The Ormiston Core Team
The team is comprised of:
Directors with experience at a local, regional and national level of
- School improvement support (all phases)
- Innovative programme development
- Project Management
- Setting up Academies
- Creating and sustaining networks
- Regeneration programmes with the wider community
An Administrative Support Team who:
- Understand all facets of education
- Have expertise in legal and contractual issues related to schools
- Can support recruitment processes in schools
- Are expert in writing high quality bids for external funding
A core team of Consultants , all of whom are or have been:
- Head teachers
- Senior professional in LEA's
- Ofsted trained and/or experienced
A Marketing Manager who:
- Has significant experience in education
- Can provide school marketing packages
- Offers advice on specific marketing issues for individual schools
The Ormiston Education Head Office is based in Birmingham City, with very good access to routes for all parts of the country.
Training facilities are available for up to 20 people, with break out rooms for group work. The facilities are available to partner schools at a subsidies cost.
