Ormiston Trust

Our parent charity Ormiston Trust was set up in the memory of Fiona Ormiston Murray, a young woman who was tragically killed in a car crash with her husband on their honeymoon in 1969. Fiona had her whole life ahead of her, so her family wanted to do something in her name to make a positive contribution to the lives of others.

Now Ormiston Trust’s programmes support thousands of children, young people and their families all over the UK. The organisation invests in delivering high-quality practice in children’s services and schools, in order to boost levels of wellbeing and attainment.
