Ormiston Achievement Quality Mark

The Ormiston Achievement Quality Mark has been developed in response to the drive for radical change and improvement in public sector provision and support for children and their families.

The Quality Mark is designed to enable schools and their partners to evaluate their practice and enhance provision to ensure that all children and young people achieve more and can flourish.

The framework recognises that all children learn differently and at their own pace, enabling schools to strategically and systematically support all learners.

The online self-assessment tool has six components:

  1. Achievement and Enjoyment of Learning
  2. Skills for Employment and Adult Life
  3. Child Protection and Safety
  4. Behaviour and Positive Attitudes
  5. Health
  6. Leadership and Management

Along the way, you get advice from your personal consultant, who will support your school in its progression to a Bronze, Silver or Gold award. Our awards compare to the Ofsted gradings of Satisfactory, Good or Outstanding and show your school’s commitment to helping every pupil to shine.

The new Achievement Quality Mark is a revision of our Every Child Matters Quality Mark, designed to reflect the government’s new priorities.
