Ormiston Academies and Trust Schools Strategy

The Ormiston Trust is seeking to establish a network of Academies and Trust Schools that share a common core of values and are committed to collaborative improvement. The network of three academies in 2007 will be further extended in 2009.

The Trust is seeking to create a network of aspirational Academies and Trust Schools who will play a leading role in education improvement nationally. The Trust welcomes independent Academies to join the Ormiston Network thereby gaining from and contributing to major educational initiatives. Schools seeking Trust status should contact the Trust if they are seeking voluntary sector partners and who would wish to join the network. Currently the Trust is match funding a number of important projects that are well received by the participatory schools.
